The
Association represents the interests of anaesthetists in the |

VASGBI was formed in 1997 to provide a forum to promote communication and
understanding among anaesthetists who care for patients undergoing
vascular surgery. The society aims to support all those involved in
vascular anaesthesia, from dedicated vascular anaesthetists to those with
limited vascular responsibilities. |

cardio thoracic disorders, and in particular those undergoing cardiac or
thoracic surgery. |

Intensive Care Society was founded in 1970 to bring together clinicians
whose main interest is caring for critically ill patients. Membership
includes anaesthetists, surgeons and physicians. The Society also has a
rapidly growing nurse and professionally allied membership including unit
managers and other non-medical staff involved in intensive care. |

College of Anaesthetists is the professional body responsible for the

British Pain Society is the representative body for all professionals
involved in the management and understanding of pain in the |

frameworks, training, competencies and agendas. |

Association of Dental Anaesthetists (ADA) was founded in 1977 and at
present has a membership of approximately 350. Consisting of both
Anaesthetists and Dentists the Association aims to further the art and
science of anaesthesia and sedation for dentistry and to provide a forum
for discussion. |
