Article Submissions

Original research, audit and case studies can be submitted.
Please submit your abstract online.

  • Abstracts to be submitted by 5pm on the 24th February 2012.
  • You must register for at least one day of the meeting in order to submit an abstract. 
  • Oral presentations are on the 2nd April 2012
  • Poster presentations are on the 3rd April 2012
  • Notification of abstract acceptance, whether oral or poster, and day of presentation, will be by e-mail.
  • All authors will be notified of the decision by 29th February latest (and probably sooner) to allow plenty of time to book study leave.

There will be prizes for the best oral and poster presentations.
Accepted abstracts may be published in Anaesthesia, so must conform to the template below to be suitable for publication
Basic abstract rules:
1) Ethical approval should be acknowledged in the methods section and the relevant box ticked on the abstract submission form
2) Case studies should have the written consent of the patient, although it is not necessary to submit the actual letter. Please tick the relevant box on the bottom of the abstract submission form
3) Please use the template below to format your abstract. Pay attention to style, case, font, whether bold or italic. Times New Roman point 8
4) One graph or one diagram may be contained within the abstract, but remember this will reduce the amount of text you may have
5) When you have completed your abstract please upload it into the form below
